Pedro founded Altimapa to help UK and European businesses access non-traditional finance sources. Previously, he led the Corporate Risk Advisory team at Nomura, and the Credit Analytics team at Merrill Lynch. He started his career in quantitative analytics within banking before covering a variety of roles across structuring and analytics. Pedro is an experienced angel investor and business coach and holds a PhD in Physics from Strathclyde University.

Martin focusses on Continental Europe and more broadly on Financial Institutions at Altimapa and brings years of capital markets experience, most recently from NatWest Markets. Martin's areas of expertise are corporate financing, derivatives & hedging across a wide range of sectors, having also acted as an advisor to startups and family businesses. Martin holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Tosin brings two decades of experience in insurance, structured finance and public sector, with expertise acquired at Standard & Poor's, Zurich, Aviva, Legal & General, LV= and Prudential Plc in the insurance-linked securitization (ILS) and the broader insurance context. Tosin's leadership at Afreximbank and the UN World Food Programme highlights his commitment to impactful financing initiatives in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Tosin holds a Masters degree in Actuarial Science from Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School in London.

Joaquim Souza

Joaquim advises Altimapa on strategy and in the Iberian and EM markets. As a former CEO of CaixaBI, Board Member of some of CGD Group's banks in Brazil and Sub-Saharan Africa, and Partner at Dynamo Capital, he brings over 20 years of experience in Capital Markets and Investment Banking. He currently serves on the boards of CIFI (Panama), Westwing Brasil (Brazil) and Fundbox SCR (Portugal). He graduated in Economics from NovaSBE and holds an MBA from the University of Virginia´s Darden School of Business.

Peter advises Altimapa's Board on business strategy and development. He was an Equity Capital Markets Analyst with Smith New Court and then KBC Peel Hunt for 25 years before developing a portfolio of private equity investments and directorships. He is a business mentor and, for fun, teaches captains of industry to sail yachts. He graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
