Pedro founded Altimapa to help UK and European businesses access non-traditional finance sources. Previously, he led the Corporate Risk Advisory team at Nomura, and the Credit Analytics team at Merrill Lynch. He started his career in quantitative analytics within banking before covering a variety of roles across structuring and analytics. Pedro is an experienced angel investor and business coach and holds a PhD in Physics from Strathclyde University. Pedro is based in London
Martin focusses on Real Estate across Europe at Altimapa. He brings years of capital markets experience, most recently from NatWest Markets. Martin's areas of expertise are corporate financing, derivatives & hedging across a wide range of sectors, having also acted as an advisor to startups and family businesses. Martin holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Martin is based in London
Tosin brings two decades of experience in insurance, structured finance and public sector, with expertise acquired at Standard & Poor's, Zurich, Aviva, Legal & General, LV= and Prudential Plc in the insurance-linked securitization (ILS) and the broader insurance context. Tosin's leadership at Afreximbank and the UN World Food Programme highlights his commitment to impactful financing initiatives in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Tosin holds a Masters degree in Actuarial Science from Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School in London.
Daniel advises banks, non-bank lenders, fintechs and asset managers on debt capital raising and structured financing solutions across Europe. Having nearly two decades of experience in fixed income, private credit and asset-backed finance, Daniel brings deep expertise in senior, mezzanine and junior capital structures, forward-flow agreements and warehouse facilities. Daniel has held senior roles at ABG Sundal Collier, Stifel, Oppenheimer & Co. and Seaport Global, and previously founded CapIntro. He is based in London.
Vlad joins Altimapa having previously held roles in asset management and banking at Hadrian's Wall Capital and MUFG Bank. His areas of expertise include structured finance, structured loans, and asset finance across a broad range of economic sectors and transaction sizes. Vlad holds a Financial Economics Bachelors.
Marielle brings five years of experience in sourcing investment opportunities for mid to large cap investors into her work connecting with prospective borrowers at Altimapa. In addition to managing early-stage opportunities, Marielle is growing and developing Altimapa's professional services network. She is a dual American and Brazilian citizen and a CFA candidate.
Joaquim advises Altimapa on strategy and in the Iberian and EM markets. As a former CEO of CaixaBI, Board Member of some of CGD Group's banks in Brazil and Sub-Saharan Africa, and Partner at Dynamo Capital, he brings over 20 years of experience in Capital Markets and Investment Banking. He currently serves on the boards of CIFI (Panama), Westwing Brasil (Brazil) and Fundbox SCR (Portugal). He graduated in Economics from NovaSBE and holds an MBA from the University of Virginia´s Darden School of Business.
Peter advises Altimapa's Board on business strategy and development. He was an Equity Capital Markets Analyst with Smith New Court and then KBC Peel Hunt for 25 years before developing a portfolio of private equity investments and directorships. He is a business mentor and, for fun, teaches captains of industry to sail yachts. He graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
